Webley scott pistols5/2/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 70% of its metal finish. There is very little scattered faint erosion in the bore. Overall, the grips rate in about Very Good condition.īore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. The checkering shows wear but is generally well defined. The smooth borders show various little nicks and scratches. There is a sliver of material loss at the back of the right panel. Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood panels with smooth diamonds around the escutcheons. The rear sight is a “U” groove in the top of the slide. Sights / Optics: The front sight is a rounded blade fixed to the front of the barrel. The circumference of the rear edge of the barrel is marked with crowned “BV” and “BP” proofs and the top of the slide behind the power is also marked with a Crown over “BV” proof. The right rear of the frame is marked with a Crown over “BV” proof. The left rear of the frame is marked “78404”. Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD / LONDON & BIRMINGHAM / 7.65 M/M & 32 AUTOMATIC PISTOL” and bears the “Crown / M.P.” Metropolitan Police stamp and the Webley & Scott bullet-with-wings logo.
